eBooks
© Copyright Notice:
Chris Dobson’s eBooks are licensed for personal use by a named individual: either the purchaser themselves, another named person (if purchased as a gift), or for a named business or institution (for example a museum), and may not be copied, circulated or re-sold to other parties, either as digital files or as printed copies, either in whole, or in part. Each eBook PDF file is given a digital watermark personal to the named person/business/institution. If you wish to purchase an eBook as a gift for someone else, there is a box to add instructions during the Paypal payment process, and the watermark will be applied in their name. If you buy these eBooks as gifts for someone else, please let them know that they are licensed for personal use only. Sending these PDF files to third parties to get them professionally printed is specifically prohibited.
Copying and distributing these eBook files would constitute a criminal offence, in addition to which the copyright holder - Christopher Dobson - reserves the right to take civil action over any infringement of his copyright.
Editorial, Review and Promotional Use of Images:
If you wish to use copyrighted material (images) from these ebooks for editorial, review or promotional purposes of any kind, either in print publications, digital publications, or on the internet, you still need to ask permission before doing so. Specially-formatted images can then be sent to you under an Editorial Use licence. To request material for editorial use, please submit a request using the form on the Contact page.
Failure to respect these terms and conditions is a breach of Copyright.
Downloading Files:
Downloading files purchased from this website is the responsibility of the purchaser, whether you buy them for yourself, or as a gift for someone else, and you must provide a valid and fully-working email address for the download link to be sent to, and to enable Chris Dobson to communicate with you in the event of any problems. Failure to provide a valid and fully-working email address will result in Chris Dobson cancelling your order and refunding your payment via Paypal, minus the transaction fee charged by Paypal to process the original payment.
A link to download the PDF files is sent to purchasers via email by Wetransfer, normally within one working day of your purchase. That link for download expires after 7 days. By making this purchase, you are personally accepting responsibility for downloading the files before the link expires.
The same is true if you buy these eBooks as a gift for someone else.
In either case, if files have still not been downloaded 8 days after purchase, and the download link has expired, a refund will be issued automatically within 14 days from that date, minus the transaction fee charged by Paypal to process the original payment.
By making this purchase, you are accepting that Chris Dobson is not in any way responsible if you or the recipient (in the case of gifts) fail to download eBook files before the download link expires, and if you or the recipient experience any problems downloading those files, then you accept that it is your responsibility to get in touch with Chris Dobson to let him know, via the Contact page.
By purchasing eBooks from Chris Dobson you are confirming that you have read and you accept these terms and conditions.
Chris Dobson reserves the right to refuse to sell eBooks to any client without necessarily giving a reason.
